Day to Data Technologies proposed system

DDT has proposed a system that will help Mr Manoto's with his everyday processes. MTE is a business that designs and sells products(shirts, hats and hoodies) to its clients, so we have created a system that will fit into this context.

 

Mr Manoto's project requirements was that it should keep track of:

  • Customer Orders

  • Any expenditures and sales in the business

  • Delivery points

  • Inventory

  • Supplier Orders

The system that we thought would be ideal for MTE, is that it should include an online web based shopping website, where customers can browse and make orders for the products offered by MTE. The system also includes an desktop application that will help with the admin side of the business. These two parts of the system will constantly interact with each other to make sure the business runs smoothly and it satisfies all the system requirements of the business.

DDT made use of Angular and Electron to build the proposed system, it also included an API that connects to the SQL database, for recording purposes. We made use of Angular because we found it to be more easier and efficient than the other frameworks.
